FARMERS WANT RECALL OF MR. BOSWELL
GREY1UOCTH, June 2. Pointing out that New Zealand 's diplomatic representation to Russia had so far cost £45,000 during which time New Zealand had \sold the Russians nothing and bought £145 worth of goods from them, Mr. W. Wallace, ot Rotpmanu, moved at the annual conference of West Coast Federated Farmers that the Government be asked to recall its Minister "to "Russia' (Mr. C. W. Boswell). Supporting the remit, Mr. P. J. O'Regan (Inangahua) said Mr. BoswCli was only wasting his time in Russia and his time meant New Zealand 's money. Mr. Boswell had been required to take his own furniture to that paradise, and he thought it was high time he was recalled. "I think we can safelv leave our negotiations to Mr. Bevin, and Mr. Boswell probably could do something to relieve the food shortage. I understand he is a farmer," concluded Mr. O 'Regan, Tho remit wns adopted.
