EXETER AMISS
Exeter, who is probably the best horse in the Auckland district up to a mile aml a-quarter, went amiss just before tlie Awapuni Gold Cup. ■ He has been carrving big weights on hara tracks and it is tliought that this has conti'ibuted largely to his breakdown. It is bad luck for his counectious.
