SCHOOL SWIMMING
LEVIN CONVENT'S SPORTS FIRST FIXTURE HELD In ideal weather the first swimmi'ng sports of the Levin Convent School were held last week. The majority of the competitors were members of the learners class con'ducted by the Levin Amateur Swimming Club, under the supervision of Mr. J. H. George, and the results prove that this class has been a great benefit in teaching young children to swim. Messrs. N. D. Till»y, J. H. George and H. R. Vallance, of the Levin Swimming Club, conducted the carnival on behalf of the Convent School i Results were as follows: — Learners' width. — Boys: J. Ree 1, G. Hesp 2, R. Palmer 3. Girls: F.
