HARSHNESS ALLEGED
TREATMENT OF GERMANY Received Monday, 9.10 p.m. LONDON, April 1. "The conditions at present imposed on Germany make the Treaty of Versailles look like a bed of roses," said Mr. R. R. Stokes, a Labour memher of the House of Commons. "Russia is husy husting up Germany in the hope of preventing further aggression, while America is doing likewise to destroy a trade competitor." Mr. Stokes expressed the opinion that, unless Germany were organised for full production, the whole of Europe would suffer.
