Instruments which will radio the 'atmospheric pressure and temperature, also the missile's speed, will he installea in a German V2 which army experimenters at the White Sands (New Mexico) testing grounds on May 8 will fire 100 miles high. The army recently lashed down another V2 in a steel-lined pit and set tne propulsion going full speed, 'whereupon the exhaust flame melted the half-inch thick steel plates from the moorings and blew them 100 feet.
