POLICE VISIT TO HOUSE

PALMERSTON N., March 28. The police in Palnierston North this morning visited a private house in the city and digging away the earthern flocr of a tool shed found j a pickle bottle eighteen inches j below the surface containing £560 I in notes, believed to be part of the money taken from the Bank of New Zealand at Bulls in the robbery on Monday. Of the £2128 taken, the sum of approximately £1200 has now been recovered. It is all believed to be a portion of the missing money.
