PALMERSTON, N., March 28. Kenneth Hardy Brandon, freezing worker, aged 20 years, of Palmerston North, who was arrested at Wanganui yesterday, was charged in the Magistrate's Court this morning, before Justices of the Peace, that' on March 25, at Bulls, being armed with offensive weapons, a iSten gun and two revolvers, he did irob Kenneth Hubert Allen of the : sum of £2128. ] Detective-Sergeant O. Power iasked that accused, be remanded j until next Wednesday, and Mr. M. I G. Crossley, who appeared for j Brandon, raised no objection. The remand was accordingly : granted. I . With the appearance of this man ! in court the police search in respect [ of persons believed to be connected Jwith the hold-up of the Bank of (New Zealand at Bulls has ended, as j only three men are believed to have ffieen involved. No further money - ihas been found.
