ATOMIC ENERGY RESEARCH
: SOYIET'S FIVE-YEAR PLAN Received Monday, 1.15 p.m. MOSCOW, March 24. Research into atomic energy and astrophysics hold a prominent place in the Soviet Academy of Science's five-year plan, said the president of the Academy, Dr. N. Vavilov, writing in Izvestia. The draft plan, which is fartfrom complete, provided for fifty new building projects and sixty expeditions, including a large-scale one to the Northern Pacific.
