WEDDING BELLS
GARRITY— NORRIS A wedding of interest to Otaki and district residents, as well as to residents of Tauranga and the Manawatu districts, was recently celebrated at Vureas' St. Patrick s Chapel, Lolowai Aoba, New -HebI rides, when Miss Nancy Norris, ot | Tauranga, was wedded to the Eev. R. Peter Garrity, the principal oi the Boys' School, and late of Otaki, where he resided for a number of years. Archbishop Teal offlciated, and the service was fully choral, sung by the students of the school. The bride wore an attractive gown of Brussels lace and was attended by Miss F. Caldwell, matron of the local hospital. The bridegroom wore his cassock. 1 After the wedding the celebration of the holy communion followed, which was also fully choral. The wedding breakfast took place j at the principal's home, and was prepared and provided by the hospital staff. The girls from the Selwyn Girls' School made an arch of floral wands along the path to the residence, through which the bridal lcouple walked in spite of the heavy rain. „ The future home of Mr. and Mrs. Garrity will be the Boys' School, Vureas, Lolowai, New Hebrides.
