A Canadian Parliamentarian wil'l oe arrested within a few days and charged with wartime espionage in connection with the Russian spy rng, said' the New *ork Daily News Ottawa correspondent. The Parliamentarian, a prominent Leftist, represents a Quebec constitu ency.. It is alleged that he reported secret sessions 0 ..-arliament directly to Moscow and also transmitted photostatic copies of highly confidential documents. He was implicated by one of the 15 detained members of the spy ring. The Parliamentarian has heen shadowed for weeks by Royal Canadian Mount'sd Poiicc, but a high' official said his arrest had been delayed ' 'because we wanted to collect sufficient evidence fdr his trial.
