After being absent through ill-liealth or some timo, Mr. J. M. Graluim, who uis been clerk to the Woodville Countv ouncil for tlie pasl 29 years, has tenIered his resignation from the position. Mr. Graham is stili in hospital, but. is making good progress towards lecovtry. Deep regrct at Mr. Graham 's decision .vus expressed by councillors at a nieetnig Jast weck, and it was derided to grant Mr. Graham six nionths' lcave of absencg on full pay. The ehairman (t'r. XT. Crs. R. Morgan (who has been on the -ouncil for 23 years), W. Galloway, uid E. I). Cattanach, also paid tributes o tlie great service which j\lr.
