Aid For Farmers
To aid fanners of the Auckland province to overcome thc grave t'eed shortage caused through the drough'1, the Union Bteam Bliip Coiupany hau arranged for two sliips to call at Timaru to load fodder for this port. The compaiiy aunounced on Baturday that the steamer Waimarino will call at Timaru tomorrow to pick up an extra loading of fodder for Auckland, wliere she is due next weekend. Another steamer, the Karetu, will load a full eargo of fodder for Auckland at Timaru during the week.
