MELBOURNE RACING
Received Sunday, 9.15 p.m. MELBOURNE, March 10. The Australian Cup at Flemington kas won by Knoekarlow in 3.48&, which broke the eourse record by a quarter oi a second. The mare ran a well balancid race finishing with a burst of speed which was too much for Silunan. Knoekarlow wore the bridle in which 'har Lap won all his races. Trainer Woodcock said that he had .ieen keeping the bridle for a worthy mccessor, so no other horse has worn it since I'har Lap 's death. Knoekarlow was bought for 75 guineas as a yeariing.
