YEAR'S PROFIT IS £356

WORK OF HOROWHENUA A. AND P. ASSOCIATION Members of the Horowhenua A. and P. Association saw a highly successful year in retrospect when the Secretary, Mr. J. A. Goodwin, reviewed the finances at a meeting of the general committee on Friday evening. It disclosed that the year's working had resulted in a profit of £356 4s ld. Revenue for the year totalled £1827 2s 5d, the principal items being members' subscriptions £517 donations £165 17s, entry fees to the show £358 11s 3d and pony raffle £103. Of the total expenditure of £1470 18s 4d the main items were: Prize money £728 17s 6d, wages and salaries £230 19s, printing and advertising £160 17s 9d, purchase pony £32 and general £53 16s 8d.
