PA Auckland The third leg start of the Whitbread round-the-world yacht race on Sat--urday has forced a change to the start time of Auckland’s one-day cricket match against Australia. The Eden Park match was scheduled to begin at

11 a.m. but has now been put back to midday to avoid too much of a clash with the Whitbread start. “We wanted to give everybody the opportunity to see both the start of the Whitbread race and our game,” said the Auckland Cricket Association’s secretary, Graham Cowan, yesterday.
