Enterprise trials again

PA Auckland It was a case of deja vu for the round-the-world race yacht NZI Enterprise as it trailed Atlantic Privateer across the finish line at the end of their Opua to Auckland challenge race yesterday. Enterprise was less than 400 metres behind Privateer when the American maxi crossed

the finish line shortly after 5 p.m. The New Zealand yacht was also runner-up to Privateer in the second stage of the Whitbread round-the-world race. The race was only a “friendly” competition, but provided a good workout for both boats and crews who will start the third leg of the global race on Saturday.
