NZPA-AAP Melbourne A Wanganui junior golfer, Brendan Follows, finished fifth in the Australasian zone play-offs for ' the Doug Sanders international golf title at Melbourne. Follows, aged 17, the New Zealand junior champion, improved through each of the four rounds, returning scores of 82, 81, 79 and 77, for a total of 319. Daryl Sellar, of South Australia, shot 308 to win the zone contest and the
right to compete in the world final in Scotland later this year. The Australasian zone competition is contested each year by the New Zealand and Australian State champions.
