Nees clinches title
PA Wellington The Dunedin skipper, Peter Nees, has clinched the New Zealand international Moth yachting title with a race to spare. Yesterday Nees won the fifth and sixth races of the series to keep his perfect record for the week. In theory, he does not have to sail the final
race today but intends doing so. Results:— Race five: Peter Nees (Vauxhall club, Dunedin) 1, Terry Doherty (Rotorua) 2, Colin Sellwood (Waimakariri) 3, Peter Stacey (Rotorua) 4, Martin Balch (Heretaunga) 5. Race six: Nees 1, Alan van Leeuwan (Heretaunga) 2, Sellwood 3, Mark Bremner (Vauxhall) 4, Max Forrest (Heretaunga) 5. -
