Braid switching
PA Auckland The former Bay of Plenty and All Black lock, Gary Braid, will play on the North Shore next season. North Harbour’s assistant coach, Mr Peter Lamont, confirmed yesterday that Braid would be transferring from Bay of Plenty to take a posi-
tion on the North Shore at the end of this week. He will play for the North Shore club. Braid, though relatively small for a lock, is an outstanding lineout player. He toured England and Scotland in 1983, playing both internationals, and toured Australia in 1984.
