New general secretary for P.S.A.
PA Wellington The Public -Service Association yesterday appointed Mr Colin Clark to be its new general secretary.
The appointment was made after a special meeting of all 23 P.S.A. section chairmen. “Colin Clark is well known in the P.S.A., the Combined State Unions and the wider trade union movement,” said the association’s president, Mr Colin Hicks.
Mr Clark was appointed to the P.S.A. national office in 1975, and has been deputy general secretary since 1977.
He will succeed Mr Barry Tucker, who will retire in April after 10 years as general secretary.
