Gantley wins golf

Joe Gantley, of Templeton, won the Templeton summer open golf tournament, after a

play-off yesterday. Gantley had rounds of 73 and 74, as did the Russley player, John Crawford-Smith. The pair then played off for the title, with Gantley winning at the third play-off hole. Three golfers, John McCor-

mlck, Neville Brightwell and Alistair McCall, shared third place.
