Fine N.Z. batting
NZPA-AAP Sydney A New Zealand Youth opener, Rob Mackinlay, and Brian Spragg yesterday took their side to a fine 256/3 off 100 overs against an under 19 New South Wales team at the Sydney Cricket Ground. New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat on a very good batting wicket. The New Zealanders put on a fine performance, with Mackinlay hitting 63 in 174 minutes, including five boundaries.
