Vic. umpire omitted
NZPA-AAP Melbourne The controversial Victorian umpire, Ray Isherwood, was yesterday missing from the list of umpires for the World Series Cup finals. Mr Isherwood, the central figure in several contentious decisions during the second test against India in Melbourne, was the subject of criticism from the Indian captain, Kapil Dev, after that game.
OjKapil also made it clear on Ojseveral later occasions that he was far from happy with Mr Isherwood. A Tasmanian umpire, Steve
