Campaign to boost road safety

Mr Palmer met a group'' of young children on the « steps of Parliament and -, presented them with' Eng- s lish and Maori versions of the cards, signed by him- ’ self. '
A pedestrian crossing had been set up in Parliament’s grounds, 1 and; after a school patrol had said it was safe, Mr Palmer led the children; across. “Now you will know to always be very careful so you don’t get run over by big cars,” Mr Palmer ibid the children.
