Hollis Stacy wins

NZPA-Reuter Montreal The American, Hollis Stacy, who started the final round three strokes behind the leader, shot a four-under-par 68 to win a 5250,000 women’s golf tournament in Montreal yesterday. Marilyn Smith of New Zealand, who led the tournament for the first three rounds, struggled to a 40 on the back nine to finish the

round with 77 for a total of 285. Stacy finished the 72 holes with an 11-under-par total of 277 for a two-stroke victory and the $37,500 top prize. Two Americans, Joanne Camer and Alice Miller, who both fired rounds of 66, shared second place. Rosie Jones of the United States finished four strokes behind the winner at seven under par to take fourth place.
