League players doubtful
NZPA-Reuter Sydney The Australian rugby league test half-back, Peter Stirling, runs the risk of further damaging a shoulder injury should he play in Saturday’s test against New Zealand at Brisbane’s Lang Park. An, X-ray examination yesterday showed that Sterling had a partial dislocation of the
collarbone and another bump could worsen the injury and force him to miss a month’s football. The test lock, Ray Price, is also under a cloud to pass today’s medical with strained medial knee ligaments. He was checked by a doctor early at the wrek-end and his knee was very tender.
