Druids health insurance

A new health insurance scheme will be launched today in New Zealand. Backed by the Druids Friendly Society, the Healthcare Fund is a nonprofit organisation. Public membership is available through pharmacies. The fund’s chief executive, Mr John Sutherland, said that the scheme concentrated on the recovery of everyday family medical costs. Another Druids scheme offered was aimed at young people. Endorsement of the Healthcare scheme has come from the Chemists’ Guild, allowing individual pharmacies to choose whether they want to offer the scheme to their customers.
