College students get scholarships
Two Lincoln College students have been awarded John R. Templin scholarships to study in the United States. Mr Larry Bellamy, who will receive $lB,OOO, is studying at Lincoln College for a doctorate. His subject is the energy balance of solar greenhouses. A bachelor of horticultural science student, Mr Donald Opperman, will receive $16,000 to study the marketing of horticultural produce and post-harvest physiology of horticultural products.
