Debating team announced
PA Dunedin The New Zealand Universities debating team has been announced evening at the Joynt Scroll debating contest held in Dunedin. The team will debate against teams from Australia and the United States. The New Zealand team is: Michael Laws, Vickey Casey and Liam Kennedy, of the University of Otago; and Michael Fuchs and Tim Macindoe, of the University of Canterbury. Two University of Otago teams contested the final of the Joynt Scroll, which was won by Otago 11. The topic was “That we should give Mr Muldoon his due.”
