Survival exercise

Twenty aircrew’ students from the Flying Training Wing at the R.N.Z.A.F. base at Wigram will take part in a four-day survival exercise later this month. The students, 14 officer cadets, and eight aircrew cadets, will train in the Lake Sumner area. Su-

pervised by six instructors they will camp in parateepees and learn to use survival equipment. The party will include two Singaporean officer cadets and two female flight steward trainees. The group will leave Wigram on July 12.
