Police inquiries end
PA Gisborne The Gisborne police have said that they had now completed their inquiries into the disappearance of Neville Frank Seiwood from the coastal cement carrier Westport. They were satisfied there were no suspicious circumstances. Mr Seiwood, aged 41, was
the chief steward of the Westport and had been living on Waiheke Island. He was last seen about 6 p.m. on Sunday and is believed to have fallen overboard somewhere off the Wairarapa coast. The police said an inquest would probably be held after evidence of identification had been taken.
