University Vacancies I THE PAPUA NEW GUINEA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTANCY AND BUSINESS STUDIES LECTURER IN ECONOMICS APPLICATIONS are invited for the post of Lecturer In Economics with the capacity to teach monetary economics, public finance, Industrial economics and International economics to degree level is required for the start of the 1984 academic year. Applicants should have a higher degree In economics and prior teaching experience at the tertiary level. Preference wll be given to those with relevant Industrial experience. Salary: Lecturer K 16,020 — |K17,87C per annum (KI .$NZ1.7508) I (Appointment level will de- , pend upon qualifications and experience). Initial contract period Is for approximately 3 years. Other benefits Include a gratuity of . 24 per cent taxed at 2 per cent, appointment and repatriation fares, leave fares for the staff member and family after 18 months of service, settling-ln and settling-out allowances, six weeks paid leave per year, education fares and assistance towards school fees, free housing, salary protection plan and medical benefit schemes are available.
