Records tumble at swimming
PA Wellington Seven records were broken at the final session of the 1982 Hansells national agegroup swimming championships in Masterton yesterday. The number took the final tally of records to 34 throughout the closely-fought championships. A large proportion of them fell to members of the Auckland team, which took away the War Memorial Shield for accumulating the . most points from members winning individual events. Auckland finished with 36 points, Canterbury was next with 13, and Wellington third with 12. The Auckland team also took away the Freyberg Shield with an aggregate of 403 points, with Canterbury and Wellington next on 198 and 148 respectively.
