Casket trophy to Canterbury
PA Wellington The Wellington men's team completed a convincing win in the Wilding Shield tennis tournament yesterday, while the Canterbury women's team just as convincingly took the Nunneley Casket.' Impressive throughout the tournament was Wellington’s David Patterson. He generally had comfortable wins, although he was extended on Saturday by Central’s Graham Thomas before winning 7-5, 7-6.
