PA Wellington The use of prison labour on Government tenders will be raised in Cabinet by the Minister of Justice (Mr McLay). A delegation headed by the secretary of the Laundry Workers’ Union (Mr F. Thorn) and the manager of a Wellington company about to lay off 10 workers after losing a $lOO,OOO-year-contract, met Mr McLay. > The delegation asked that! the matter be raised at the | Cabinet’s meeting next Mon-j day. The contract will now be handled at the Wi Tako prison laundry, and the decision may be discussed at a meeting of prison officers J today
