To Train In Dunedin
Expert instructors will have charge of the second South Island young athletes’ coaching school in Dunedin from August 24. to 28. Heading a group of three is Mr F. Sharpley, official coach of the New Zealand Empire Games team. Supporting him will be Mr S. Johnson, a British senior coach who has gained wide respect in his short time in New Zealand, and Mrs D. Jameson, of Christchurch. The school has been restricted to 120 athletes, with only 60 from outside Otago. Application forms have been sent to all clubs and secondary schools in Canterbury.
