How To Get Into Park
Special arrangements have been made for today's match at Lancaster Park, so that spectators can enter the park with as little delay and inconvenience as possible. In general, these arrangements cater for three categories of spectators:—
Children.—Admission to the boys’ enclosure at the south end of the embankment, by ticket or cash (2s), is through the Lismore street gate only, which will be open from 12
'noon to 2.15 p.m. Officia s ! will attend to the admission of ■ these boys into the special enclosure. Adults will not be admitted through the Lismore street gate. Two special turnstiles have been provided at the Steven street entrance for children only and they will pay their admission fee of 2s without the necessity of having to buy a ticket as has been the case for previous big matches. Children may also enter the embankment through the Talfour place turnstiles after buying a ticket at the change window. Embankment. Additional turnstiles (a total of 16) are available at the main entrance in Stevens street, at which adults pay their admission fee of ss. Change is available at change windows. There is always a tendency for patrons to form long queues at a few turnstiles, instead of dispersing to others not so busy and patrons are advised to use turnstiles with the smallest queues. Staff will be on duty to assist in this direction. Access to the embankment may be gained from the temporary raceway in front and by stairways at the rear. The piped raceways on the embankment itself should be kept clear to i avoid congestion.
Reserved Seats.—These directions are printed on the back of all reserved seat tickets.
