BURSARIES SCHEME
Changes Al Lincoln There had apparently been some confusion over the eligibility of Lincoln College students for bursaries under the University Bursaries Regulations, the Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella) said last evening. Students at Lincoln College had been concerned by information that regulations had been altered so that diploma students this year would be held liable for accounts for board. However, students with Higher School Certificates were eligible for the award of fees and allowances bursaries for recognised diploma courses as in the past. The position of other students at Lincoln College was still under consideration by the University Grants Committee, but for 1966 all those eligible for bursaries and allowances under the old regulations would continue to receive them.
