Freight Survey
The acting Prime Minister (Mr Hanan) has advised the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association that the freight survey of the South Island has been referred to the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Marshall). Mr Marshall had returned to New Zealand, and a reply on the survey, should be forthcoming. Mr R. G. Pearce, at the association's monthly council meeting said that he wondered how long it would take to receive the reply of the Minister.
