New Champion Beaten Timaru. the leader. Christchurch and Chester, won their matches tn the latest round of the Canterbury A grade squash rackets competition, and cers' Club and Collegiate drew with seven games each. Timaru. with a weakened team, beat University by only one game. The easy defeat of N. A. Justice by R. Haynes, and the loss of the first game, 10-9. by J. F. Henderson to I). Lyons, cost University Its chance of victory over Timaru For Ashburton. G. A. Davidson was tn convincing form to beat the new Christchurch champion. R. M. Garrett, In three games. Worcester, without L. G. Milne and with N. B. Ullrich forced to retire injured early in the first game of his match against E. R. Morris, went down by three matches to one. Only T. L. Williams succeeded for Worcester. Maintaining his recent inter-club form, Williams took 14 points tn succession during the last two games against S. V. Hamilton.
