China
Sir,—l feel you should be commended for giving so much space to widely divergent views of Chinese communism, obviously in an effort to be impartial. I find communism in any form, highly abhorrent, and I am sure others do also. Whatever good comes out of modern China, however great the advances made, who is likely to forget Tibet? Before the Chinese “liberated” them they were a happy, harmless and unambitious people. Now it seems the Tibetans have almost been exterminated. Can any excuse be found for the murder of a race? I can not find one, but am sure “P.J.A.” will.—Yours, etc., D. VICARS. July 8, 1966.
