Amuri Hospital
Sir, —Dr. Berry stated at the last Hospital Board meet-
ing that staffing in country hospitals was critical. He neglected to say that most country hospitals were for maternity cases only. Since the incidence of the H-bug, maternity cases must be nursed separately. The wish of the Amuri people is a general medical hospital. There are many nurses who enjoy the care and variety of medical cases but tire of constant maternity work. Babies have no respect for nurses’ hours. —Yours, etc., OMEGA. June 28, 1966.
