Sir, —Advanced plans for the new Christchurch Railway Station had to be altered when it was found that parking had been allowed for only 17 cars. Legislation is overdue here similar to the British regulations: compulsory parking provision in new buildings. This is urgently necessary, especially for public buildings such as post offices.—Yours, etc., SETH NEWELL. June 28, 1966.
