Meeting In Auckland

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 27. Trucks and vans in Auckland will come to a stand-still on Wednesday morning while 2500 drivers employed by members of the Auckland Master Carriers’ Association and the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Contractors' Association attend a stop-work meeting. Petrol-tanker drivers, who stopped last week, will also attend the meeting, thus halting fuel deliveries again. Public passenger transport will not be affected.

The meeting has been called to discuss progress in the drivers’ claims for a new industrial agreement.
