The West Indies fast bowler, W. W. Hall, took seven wickets for 31 when the tourists dismissed Minor Counties for 65 at Norwich yesterday.

At stumps on the first day of a two-day game, the West Indies were 273 for five (P. Lashley 108 not out, R. B. Kanhai 67, B. F. Butcher 54).
