Man And Child Drowned

(N.Z. Preu Association) PAEROA. June 23. A man was drowned when he fell from the railway bridge over the Ohinemuri river at Paeroa today. He was Thomas Ivan Jenkins, aged 61, of Station road, Paeroa.

Three skindivers failed to find the body and the search will continue tomorrow. A girf was drowned In the Otara creek, near Auckland, today. She was Slmonne Kahia, aged two, daughter of Mr and Mrs B. Kahia, of 12 Lawrence place, Otara.
