SEWERAGE PLANT

No Change In Attitude (N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, June 21. Objection to the Hamilton City Council’s sewage-treat-ment plant site was emphatically reaffirmed by Mr F. L. Onion, chairman of directors’ of the New Zealand Cooperative Dairy Company today. He described a suggestion that his company would withdraw its opposition to the siting of the works as “quite incorrect.”

Inspections of sewerage works in Britain and talking to engineers had only reaffirmed his objections to the proposed sitting, he said. “We have not retreated from our previous position. We are quite determined."
