McKenzie To Ease Off
(N.Z. Press Association) GREYMOUTH. Shin soreness has forced the national marathon champion, D. McKenzie, temporarily to ease off his training for the Jamaican Empire Games marathon in August McKenzie has been receiving massage treatment. Other leg ailments have troubled him from time to time. “I hope the trouble will go as soon as possible, but I’m not unduly worried at this stage,” said McKenzie. “I have done a long build-up over re-; cent years and I don’t think a few days off will hurt me.” 1
