(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 22. Mrs E. Medcalf received £5lO 9s 4d from the sale of eight bales of scoured Romney lambs’ wool at an Auckland wool sale today. She had won the wool as first prize In a national crossword contest and was guaranteed a minimum of £5OO at auction.
