The Rev. C. L. Dobbs, vicar of Southbridge, has been appointed acting precentor of Christchurch Cathedral from July 31. Dr;. R. A Falla, director of the Dominion Museum, left Wellington yesterday for Lucerne, as Nature Conservation Council representative, at an international conference. Also at the conference, as Forest and Bird Protection Society delegate, will be Mr L. W. McCaskill, of Christchurch.
